10/10/10 GLOBAL WORK PARTY IN DAR ES SALAAM

Approximately 200 cyclists took part in the 10/10/10 cycle caravan organised by UWABA in conjunction with ForumCC as part of the global work party on climate change on Sunday 10/10/10. After the caravan hip hop artists led by Elia Kimena performed hip hop on climate change and environment as well as cycling, and speeches were made by guest of honour Eng. Bonaventure Baya, Director General of the National Environment Management Council and other leaders. Bicycles and helmets were also raffled to participants. This event was one of 7,347 events taking place in 188 countries to highlight the need for action on climate change
